The TenprintExaminer is a multi-purpose tenprint image processing application capable of running on any Windows-based desktop computer. It provides extensive tools to analyze and manipulate tenprint images to enhance AFIS performance and identification search rates. Depending on your specific requirements, the TenprintExaminer can be inserted into workflows either before or after AFIS searching. By using the TenprintExaminer’s full range of image enhancement and minutiae editing tools before a search, a user can enhance or edit low quality tenprint images. After a search, the TenprintExaminer provides extensive functionality to analyze and compare results.

  • More flexibility: Prior to searching, quality assessment tools help an examiner review live scan and card scan submissions. Records can be viewed from the queue at any point in the transaction. Enhanced analysis functionality gives you more options for post-processing, including analysis of individual fingers with enlarged side-by-side display, with or without overlaid minutiae points.
